Felton, private in Company F, 52nd Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, written from Baton Rouge, La., to his parents in Northfield, Mass.; bank notes issued from State Bank of Trenton (ca. 1820s); IOU to George Lippincott, of Gloucester Township, N.J., for money loaned for war purposes; list of donations for refugees of New Bern, N.C., collected from Camden, N.J., citizens (1 May 1865); tax release for Charles L. Test for service in Army (1865); three letters to and from A.J. McKelway at the division hospital at Budd's Ferry, Md., concerning soldiers of the 8th New Jersey Volunteers who had died in the hospital; and bounty receipt from New Jersey state agency for collection of military claims (1868).
